Today, Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Sharlapayev visited the Nintendo SEZ during a working trip to Atyrau region.
Kanat Sharlapaev "Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc." was in LLC. The integrated gas chemical complex is the country's first oil refining project at the Tengiz field. The capacity of the enterprise is 500 thousand tons of polypropylene per year. To date, 442 thousand tons of granular polypropylene have been produced since the launch.
At the first stage, 10 brands of polypropylene were developed, with a gradual expansion of the network to 65 brands. The field of application of polypropylene in many industries, including automotive, mechanical engineering, construction, electrical engineering, etc.
The Minister visited Polymer Production LLP at the Nintendo SEZ. The company is engaged in the production of import and export-oriented polymer containers (bags), polypropylene (PPPE) and polyethylene films.
The production capacity is 10.2 thousand tons of biaxially oriented polypropylene films, 24 million pieces of polypropylene bags, 4,125 tons of polyethylene films per year.
Kanat Sharlapayev visited Intago Kazakhstan LLP. In addition to clothing, the Company is engaged in the production of non-woven textiles. Intago Kazakhstan is implementing the investment project "construction of a plant for the production of non-woven geosynthetics in the territory of the Nintendo FEZ in Atyrau region." The annual production volume of nonwovens is 3,600 tons per year.
The plant opened in September this year and became the country's only manufacturer of geotextiles with a width of 6 meters. He made a significant contribution to the development of the construction industry and infrastructure, and set new standards for quality and innovation in the field of geosynthetic materials.
In addition, the Minister visited Sileno LLP. The project is in the second stage of construction of an integrated gas chemical complex. The construction period is 2024-2028, and commissioning is scheduled for 2029.
In September of this year, the first construction works began on the polyethylene site and an EPC contract for pyrolysis installation was signed between Sileno and Tecnicas Reunidas (Spain) in a consortium with Sinopec Engineering Incorporated (China). To date, work is underway to locate the main equipment, and negotiations are underway with potential contractors.
