Kanat Sharlapayev got acquainted with the activities of the Atyrau Carriage Manufacturing Plant

The Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Sharlapayev arrived in the Atyrau region on December 27, 2019 as part of a working visit.
The Minister visited the Atyrau Carriage Works. Shota Abkhazava, head of the TEXOL group of companies, showed the guests the construction of new workshops and production facilities.
During the meeting, plans to expand production capacities were discussed, as well as a wide range of products to be offered as a result of the implementation of the entire industrial project in Atyrau. A day earlier, the Atyrau Carriage Works received a certificate of conformity TR CU 001/2011 for the serial production of 12-6785 hatch cars and 13-6792 fitting platforms until 2029. The two-axle bogie 18-6786 with an axle load of 23.5 tons has been certified for production at that time.
Today, the series of certified products have been determined - 8 thousand half-cars, 5 thousand platforms and 15 thousand bogies. The manufacturer's mark has been obtained - the Atyrau Wagon Building Plant has been assigned the conditional number 3004.
In addition to the main site, workshops for the production of wagon parts are being built. Full isolation of production will be carried out using materials produced in the country. The enterprise will create more than 3,700 jobs for specialists in various fields, including fitters, welders, drillers, riveters, etc.

Since 2024, TEXOL has launched 2 new clusters in Atyrau: a car service center on the territory of the Makhambet Industrial and Production Complex (IPC), which includes the newest and most innovative VDSh (wagon wheel workshop) in the CIS countries, a new car repair enterprise (Depot) and a car (tank) washing station. Also, the second cluster is the Atyrau Wagon Building Plant (AVZH) and factories directly related to this production.
