Today, Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Sharlapayev visited Stadler Kazakhstan LLP.
The company is a member of the Stadler Rail Group of companies and is a leading manufacturer of passenger railcars for the railways of Kazakhstan.
The production site is located in the industrial park of Astana. The total area of the premises exceeds 31 thousand square meters. m. The production capacity of the enterprise is more than 100 passenger cars per year
The strategic partner of Stadler Kazakhstan LLP is the national carrier of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Passenger Transportation JSC. It is a subsidiary of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, with which an agreement has been signed on the supply of modern, comfortable passenger cars of a new generation. They are designed to travel at a speed of 160 km/h, with a service life of 40 years.
The cars produced will comply with the EAEU technical regulations and the latest technologies in the automotive industry.
By the beginning of the 2nd quarter of 2025, the production of passenger cars will be launched at the Stadler Kazakhstan plant. As part of the offtake contracts with JSC NC KTZ, the acquisition of 537 guaranteed units for a total amount of 2 2.3 billion has been secured by 2030.
Currently, the number of workers has become a large enterprise, reaching 300 people.
