On December 28, at about 23:30 p.m., the bodies of 24 Azerbaijani citizens (three of them crew members) who tragically died in a plane crash were sent home from Aktau.
During these days, painstaking work was carried out to identify the bodies, the actions were also carried out with the help of DNA analysis and relatives.
It should be recalled that 29 people survived the December 25 plane crash, and they received high-quality medical care, including by qualified specialists who arrived from the capital on behalf of the Head of State. The 14 surviving Azerbaijani citizens have already been sent home after receiving medical treatment.
Akimat of Mangystau region expresses condolences to the relatives of the victims. Local executive authorities will continue to provide comprehensive assistance to the families and friends of those injured and killed in the plane crash.
