The Ministry of Education has developed and sent recommendations to the regions on the organization of winter holidays within the framework of the Birtutas Tarbieh program. These include safety lessons, educational, sports, cultural, and creative activities.
Ensuring the safety of children remains one of the key priorities. Special attention is paid to the joint pastime of schoolchildren with their families, especially on holidays.
To prevent road accidents, it is necessary to pay attention to safety measures on the streets, on ice, slides, skating rinks, near reservoirs, as well as in crowded places, at fairs and Christmas trees.
It is also important to observe fire safety when handling fire and electrical appliances, using Christmas lights, candles and sparklers.
Winter holidays this academic year will last 10 days — from December 30 to January 8 inclusive. Additional holidays for first grade students will last 7 calendar days from February 10 to February 16, 2025 inclusive.
