Over the past two days (January 1-2), the forces of the Ministry of emergency situations of Kazakhstan made 396 exits, including 195 for fires and burning, 201 for search, emergency rescue and other operations. At the same time, 182 people, including 57 children, were rescued and evacuated.
The Ministry of emergency situations urges citizens to observe fire safety measures, monitor storm warnings, weather changes, messages about road closures, and not go on long-distance trips.
Residents living in rural areas are advised to refrain from long-distance walking if the weather worsens.
