Akim of the region Nurlybek Nalibayev met with the Chairman of the Board of the joint-stock company "Samruk-Kazyna Construction" Maulen Aimanbetov.
The meeting discussed the implementation of the national project "Comfortable School" in the region.
This project, initiated by the Head of State, aims to improve educational infrastructure. It allows children to study in a safe and comfortable environment while providing digital tools and modern educational technologies. As part of the national project, 10 schools for 6,900 students are being built, and 5 schools for 2,700 students have already been commissioned. In 2024, 6 new schools and extensions to 5 existing schools were constructed in the region. The issue of emergency schools in the village of Tokabai in the Aral region, the village of Shieli, and the village of Zhanseit has been addressed. Last year, eight schools in the region were repaired. In Kyzylorda, the Palace of Schoolchildren, the House of Schoolchildren, and the School of Arts were opened in the Zhanakorgan district. During 2025, the House of Schoolchildren and the School of Arts will be built in the Shieli district. In May of this year, the construction of the Academy of Creativity and the new building of the Kazangap Music College will be completed in Kyzylorda, and in March, the Physics and Mathematics boarding school for gifted children will be finished. In 2025, a school for 150 students will be built in the village of Zhalanash in the Aral district, funded by the Education Infrastructure Support Fund. Following the Head of State's instruction to modernize 1,300 schools, 51 schools will be renovated over the next three years, with 9 of them scheduled for 2025.
