The Republican Aitys competition featuring akyns from the Kyzylorda and Almaty regions, supported by the local akim and titled "Adal enbek - el yrysy," has concluded at the "Arts Center" in Kyzylorda.
This event was part of the "Year of Working Professions" initiative aimed at highlighting the importance of labor. Contestants showcased their talents in various genres, including ture, sure, kaiym, as well as in duets between male and female participants, performing poetry, terme, traditional songs, and dombra music.
In the true genre, Almaty resident Zhamaly Aibyn and Kyzylorda resident Meyirbek Sultankhan thrilled everyone with their verbal duels.
In the traditional song genre, Beisenbek Tuleubay and Ulzhan Aglakova captivated the audience with their beautiful voices, while termeshis Erbak Kurmetzhanuly and Kunsulu Turikpen showcased their skill in performing terme.
In kayim aitys, Mukhtar Niyazov presented his opponent with complex rhymes, and both akyns received heartfelt applause from the audience.
The aitys lasted for about six hours. The Kyzylorda region team won and earned the right to participate in the final of the republican team aitys. All participants in the competition were awarded cash prizes for their performances.
