At the initiative of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Chingiz Arinov, the sports club "BATYR TEAM" was established. This was an important step towards strengthening the image of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, promoting employees in professional and sports activities, as well as developing sports in civil defense agencies.

  "BATYR TEAM" has become a platform for employees to maintain physical fitness and form a spirit of unity. The club is not only a place for sports, but also a symbol of courage, strength and patriotism.

  Today, there are 8 adult and 2 children's clubs "BATYR TEAM" in the cities of Astana, Almaty, Atyrau, Shymkent, Kokshetau, Kostanay, Ust-Kamenogorsk and the West Kazakhstan region, the main head office is located in Astana. These clubs have become important centers of physical education and health, where everyone can develop their sports skills and participate in training, as well as educate young people in the spirit of patriotism and courage. In the future, the Ministry of Emergency Situations plans to expand the network of sports clubs and create such centers in each region of the republic. The initiative will not only improve the physical fitness of employees, but also allow young people to engage in sports.

  There are 246 sportsmen-employees, 3 of whom are "masters of sports of international level", 47 are "masters of sports", 168 are "candidates for masters of sports" and 28 have sports ranks. These indicators indicate the high level of training and professionalism of civil protection employees, who regularly participate in competitions, win prizes and contribute to improving the image of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the national and international arena.

  The club's activities cover a wide range of areas, from regular training for employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to organizing participation in sports competitions, such as the Kazakh wrestling and arm wrestling championships. "BATYR TEAM" actively participates in international MMA tournaments,

  In 2024, athletes of the "BATYR TEAM" club won 78 medals, including 23 gold, 28 silver, 27 bronze at national and international competitions, including the world and Asian championships in martial arts, grappling, kickboxing and weightlifting.

  "BATYR TEAM" is not just a sports initiative, but part of a general strategy to strengthen the moral and physical potential of the personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to respond to various types of crisis situations. We are confident that the achievements of our employees in sports arenas, both in Kazakhstan and abroad, will inspire all Kazakhstanis to be strong, organized and ready for any challenges.

  The "BATYR TEAM" sports club continues to grow and develop, opening up new opportunities for the professional growth and patriotic education of civil defense personnel.
