Kasym-Jomart Tokayev visited the modern QazSwimAcademy sports center in Astana.

According to the director of the center, the unique complex has all the necessary conditions for training athletes. Adults and children can train in five pools of different lengths. One of them is 50 meters, two are 25 meters and two are 10 meters. Group training is conducted in 25 directions. There is also a professional gym.

The academy is equipped with high-tech equipment. The pools are equipped with a Spanish device that automatically analyzes the composition of water and the amount of reagents, ensuring effective disinfection and a high level of safety.

In addition, the facility is equipped with special training equipment that improves swimming skills and tones muscles.

Talking to young athletes, the President noted that the state attaches special importance to the development of sports infrastructure.

- I wish you success in the future and the opportunity to become Olympic champions. Sport is of great importance in improving health, as well as in glorifying our country at international competitions. I believe that you will become victorious athletes and worthy citizens of our country,- said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
