The police announced the results of the raids carried out during the New Year holidays.
In order to identify and suppress the facts of spontaneous trade in non-certified pyrotechnic products, as well as to monitor compliance with the established rules for the turnover of civil pyrotechnic substances, an operational and preventive event "Pyrotechnics" was held from December 5, 2024 to January 3, 2025.
During the event, police officers, together with employees of the fire department, conducted more than eight thousand raid operations.
1,480 violations were detected. All violators have been brought to administrative responsibility. More than 125,000 units of non-certified pyrotechnic products were seized.
In order to prevent injuries caused by the use of fireworks, about four thousand information materials have been published.
