According to police estimates, the holiday weekend in Petropavlovsk was peaceful.
As expected, there were some violations of silence during the holiday period — 31 such calls were registered from December 31 to January 4 inclusive. In addition, the police have completed 62 calls on the facts of family scandals and brawls.
In total, the operational channel 102 received 1,880 calls in five days. Seven thefts of personal property and the same number of fraud cases were registered.
Video surveillance inspectors from the Petropavlovsk City Police Department's operational control center were working in an enhanced mode. During the holidays, they revealed 181 administrative offenses. Two thirds of them are 124 facts of traffic violations.
By the way, 38 different incidents occurred on the streets of the city over the long weekend. Police officers urge drivers to be more vigilant in connection with temperature fluctuations.
