A book exhibition dedicated to the 110th anniversary of Ilyas Yesenberlin has opened in Almaty.

The National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty has opened a book exhibition "Ulttyk rukhtyn shiragy", dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the famous Kazakh writer Ilyas Yesenberlin.
The purpose of the exhibition is to introduce and popularize the creative activity of Ilyas Yesenberlin, to draw readers' attention to the personality of the writer who made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh literature.
The exhibition features more than 200 publications from the National Library's collection, including 150 books and 50 magazines.
The exhibition consists of three sections. The first section "Uly dalanyn dankty uly" reflects materials about the writer's life and work: encyclopedias, bibliographic reference books and literature.
The second section, "Tarikh roman tabigaty," introduces readers to the famous works of Ilyas Yesenberlin. Among them: collected works in 10 volumes, "Sultan", "Aisha", "Adamgershilik zhyry", "Gashyktar", the trilogy "Koshpendiler".
The third section "Halyk zhuregindegi kalamger" presents the memoirs of famous writers of Kazakhstan and the works of literary critics about the work of I. Yesenberlin.
The exhibition will run until April 3, 2025.
