A meeting with students within the framework of the Taza Kazakhstan program was held at the East Kazakhstan College named after Abai

On December 26, 2024, a meeting with students was held at the East Kazakhstan Humanitarian College named after Abai, organized within the framework of the environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan". The event brought together active youth interested in solving environmental problems in the region and experts willing to share their knowledge and experience.
Elena Berezinskaya-Abilova, Head of the Oskemen Tynysy Environmental Protection Bureau, and Ermek Askarov, Head of the Regional Youth Resource Center department, spoke at the meeting.
The speakers discussed topical environmental issues with the participants, paying special attention to the problem of environmental pollution and the importance of the Taza Kazakhstan program. Practical examples of successful environmental initiatives were presented and recommendations were given on the involvement of young people in the implementation of environmental protection programs.
Special attention was paid to the formation of an ecological culture, the reduction of household waste and the participation of young people in environmental actions. The participants actively asked questions, shared their own thoughts and offered ideas to improve the environmental situation in the region.
Following the meeting, many students expressed a desire to become volunteers of environmental projects and make a personal contribution to the implementation of the Taza Kazakhstan program. The organizers noted the importance of such events, emphasizing that only through joint efforts can significant environmental changes be achieved.
This event was another step towards the formation of an environmentally responsible society in the East Kazakhstan region.
