Major General Arman Kaliyev, Acting Chairman of the Committee on Civil Defense and Military Units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, got acquainted with the units of the Department of Emergency Situations of the East Kazakhstan region and the second rescue battalion of the RF-68303 of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Arman Kaliyev held a working meeting in the Department, where he spoke about the work carried out by the Ministry to update machinery and equipment to increase the responsiveness to emergencies in the regions. He studied the material and technical base, talked with the personnel about current tasks and problems, and also took part in laying flowers to the Stella of the fallen firefighters and rescuers in the line of duty. As a result, during a working trip to the East Kazakhstan region, the chairman gave appropriate instructions for purposeful work to ensure the security of the region and its citizens.
"The importance of modernizing equipment, improving the professional training of personnel and strengthening security measures for an effective emergency response contributes to strengthening the readiness of units for rapid response, reducing risks when performing tasks and increasing the level of public confidence in the work of rescue services," Arman Zarlykovich said.
Major General Arman Kaliyev also visited the garrison of the Abai region on a working trip.
He got acquainted with the equipment and weapons of the military unit, inspected the land allocated for the construction of unit 68303, and also visited the rescue station of the OSO. In addition, Major General Arman Kaliev held a meeting with the personnel. He laid flowers on the alley of rescuers as a sign of memory and respect for the exploits of the heroes. Following the results of the working trip, a number of instructions were given aimed at improving the efficiency of the regional divisions.
