Outstanding scientists and engineers of Kazakhstan have been elected members of the International Academy of Engineering
A general meeting of the International Engineering Academy was held with the participation of representatives of the national engineering Academies from more than 40 countries in Moscow.
The meeting discussed the results of scientific, engineering and innovation activities. A well-known scientist, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, academician of the National Academy of Engineering Temirbekov Nurlan Mukhanovich spoke on behalf of the National Academy of Engineering about the successes achieved in implementing the initiatives of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, who emphasized the importance of the development of the engineering sector as the basis for economic growth and technological independence of the country.
Elections of full members and corresponding members of the International Academy of Engineering were also held.
From Kazakhstan, they were elected full members of the International Engineering Academy:
the first cosmonaut of Kazakhstan, an outstanding test engineer, hero of the Soviet Union, Halyk Kaharmany - Aubakirov Tokhtar Ongarbaevich, famous chemical scientists – Mansurov Zulkhair Aimukhametovich and Moon Grigory Alekseevich, prominent scientist engineer – Bizhanov Nurakhmet Kusainovich.
