As of today, 6 patients remain under treatment at the Mangystau regional Multidisciplinary Hospital, four of them in the intensive care unit, two in the traumatology department. There was no deterioration in the condition, one patient was removed from vasopressors and one patient's dose of tonics was reduced from 3 to 1.
The issues of transportation of 3 victims are being worked out with the health authorities of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, of which 2 are transportable, 1 is in serious condition, on a ventilator.
It is planned to hold a consultation with doctors on the evacuation of two patients from the Republic of Azerbaijan and assess their readiness for transportation.
Recall that of the 29 injured in the crash of a passenger plane near the airport in Aktau, 27 were taken to the Mangystau regional hospital.
The patients were admitted with various injuries, mainly multiple injuries, such as closed craniocerebral trauma, concussion, closed chest injuries, and traumatic shock.
Within 10 minutes of the shipwreck, 22 emergency medical teams from the Mangystau region and 6 teams from the Disaster Medicine Center were already on site to provide first aid to the victims.
Thanks to the timely hospitalization of the injured in Aktau hospitals, qualified triage and the provision of full medical and diagnostic care in the first critical hours, it was possible to save the lives of 29 people.
It is also important that ordinary people, our compatriots from different regions, did not remain indifferent and immediately responded to the disaster.
In two days, more than 1.5 thousand people donated 800 liters of blood in blood centers throughout the republic. In Aktau itself, 490 people came to donation centers, in Astana – more than 600 people donated blood, in Shymkent – 125, Aktobe – 109, Zhetysu – 49, Karaganda – 40, East Kazakhstan Region – 34 and other regions there were caring people.
The Ministry of Health would like to thank all citizens who helped our health workers and participated in blood donation for the victims of the tragic accident.
