The issues of organizing and ensuring security during the New Year holidays in Aktobe region were discussed at a staff meeting chaired by Akim of the region Askhat Shakharov.
According to the mayor of the city, Azamat Beket, on December 31, from 20:00 to 22:00, New Year's programs will be held on the square of the city House of Culture, in the Yeset Batyr microdistrict, in a number of residential areas and parks.

According to Ardana Saimagambetov, First deputy head of the police Department, in order to ensure law and order and security at New Year's events from December 31 to January 7, 2025, all police personnel have been transferred to an enhanced mode of operation. 640 police officers, 665 National Guard soldiers and 308 reserve personnel are involved. Special attention is paid to increased patrolling of public places, prevention of violations, including drunk driving.
An action plan has been developed jointly with the akimats of cities and districts to prevent emergencies. A total of 668 facilities were checked, 450 of them identified violations were eliminated. Regular raids on the unauthorized sale of pyrotechnics are carried out, 24 violators have been brought to justice.
For the period from December 31, 2024 to January 5, 2025, emergency personnel have been transferred to an enhanced duty regime. 105 personnel and 23 pieces of equipment are involved in monitoring the activities planned in the region. Special attention is paid to the observance of fire safety rules in crowded places, as well as the safe use of pyrotechnics, garlands and heating devices.
52 ambulance crews will be on duty during the New Year holidays. Additional communication lines are operating in the 103 dispatch service. Trauma centers are operating around the clock for emergency care, and blood and plasma supplies have been prepared. The polyclinics have organized the work of doctors on duty from January 1 to January 4.
Having listened to the reports, the Akim of the region instructed to ensure the coordinated work of all government agencies and departments, emergency response services during the holidays.
"For the safety of residents and guests of the city during the holidays, it is necessary to organize the coordination of all city services to ensure the safety of festive events. To this end, it is necessary to strengthen security measures at mass events and in crowded places, including shopping malls, squares and parks.
Organize constant patrolling of the areas. Carry out additional preventive checks at crowded facilities, pay special attention to fire safety. Conduct preventive raids to prevent public order violations, including drunk driving.
Ensure the protection of strategic facilities and venues for mass events. The work of all services should be monitored," the head of the region instructed the akims of the city and districts and the relevant services.
Also, after the New Year's events, prompt cleaning and garbage collection should be organized and a sufficient number of cleaning equipment and workers should be provided to maintain cleanliness in streets, squares, parks and places of mass celebration.
