A new school for 2,000 children was opened in Koyandy village of tselinograd district. Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov got acquainted with the work of the new educational institution, assessed its infrastructure and equipment.
The modern four-story building has 96 classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards, multimedia facilities and laboratories for Natural Sciences. The school provides four sports halls, an assembly hall, a dining room and a library with a reading room. Each block has co-working areas adapted to the age of students, as well as a comfortable environment for children with special educational needs.
Sports grounds, treadmills, a football field and a playground for Primary School students are built on the territory of the school. To ensure the safety of students, video surveillance cameras and an access control system are installed.
The head of the region noted that the construction of such educational facilities is an important step towards improving the quality of children's education.
"The National Project" comfortable school", initiated on behalf of the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is aimed at reducing the shortage of places in educational institutions and creating equal conditions for children's education. The construction of such facilities in settlements located near the capital has reduced the workload of educational institutions in Astana. Improving the educational infrastructure is an important step towards the development of human capital and the future of the country, Akhmetzhanov said."
"I am very glad that a new school has been opened in our village. I replaced my son Ryan here without any doubt. Before that, he had to live in the capital in the House of our relatives. Now all our family members live together, and my son receives a quality education in good conditions," said Ulbolsyn Ibragimova, a resident of Koyandy village.
It should be noted that within the framework of the instructions of the head of State, 9 comfortable schools with a total capacity of 12,200 places were built in Akmola region. Seven of them are located in Tselinograd district, and two in Kokshetau.
