Astana, October 23, 2024 – A solemn meeting dedicated to the Republic Day was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, at which Minister Murat Nurtleu congratulated the staff of the department on the holiday.
In his congratulation, the Foreign Minister stressed that the Declaration of Sovereignty of Kazakhstan, adopted on October 25, 1990, became an important milestone on the way to independence of our state. This holiday is a vivid symbol of the reforms and state modernization that are actively being carried out in the country.
"The achievements of Kazakh diplomacy contribute to the solution of the fundamental initiatives of the Head of State on the foreign policy track, serve to strengthen political dialogue and economic cooperation with foreign countries, attract foreign investment and technology," M. Nurtleu said.
In honor of the Republic Day, employees of the Central Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and foreign institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan were awarded state awards and letters of thanks on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
