A government meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. The agenda included events for the "Year of Working Professions" and draft Government resolutions. The head of the region, Nurlybek Nalibayev, took part in the meeting in the selector mode.
After the Government meeting, a meeting was held in the region, chaired by the head of the region, at which tasks were set on the issues under discussion. Relevant instructions were given to the akims of the city of Kyzylorda, districts and responsible managers.
"By decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, the current year has been declared the "Year of Working Professions." In this regard, the regional action plan and the composition of the commission were approved. 899.9 million tenge has been allocated from the local budget for the implementation of the plan. These funds will be used for major repairs of colleges, equipping the material and technical base, opening vocational guidance classrooms in schools, introducing a full-time unit "teacher of vocational guidance" and holding various events to promote working professions," N.Nalibayev said.
The head of the region noted the need to attract masters of enterprises to colleges, as well as to replace foreign workers with local personnel. The allocated funds must be used strictly for their intended purpose and effectively.
"Every quarter, it is necessary to hold job fairs with the participation of large enterprises and representatives of medium-sized businesses. Develop documents for the placement of a state order for 5,308 places to provide free vocational education to 9th grade students who wish to study in working professions and mid-level specialists. Also, establish cooperation with large enterprises in the region to employ the top 100 college graduates," he added.
N.Nalibayev stressed that all the tasks set by the Head of State and the Government to promote working work and increase respect for working professions must be fully fulfilled.
The personnel needed for the labor market in the region are trained by 28 colleges in 97 specialties and 158 qualifications, of which 19 colleges train workers in 45 specialties and 49 qualifications.
Currently, work is underway to create a project office and a regional headquarters, as well as to organize the grand opening of the "Year of Working Professions" on the theme "Honest work — honest income".
The main goal is to transform the system of technical and vocational education, specialization of colleges, dual education, modular education, training of specialists who meet international standards and are in demand in the labor market. This will increase the level of professional education in the region.
