Today, during the XIX session of the regional maslikhat, which was attended by the head of the region, Nurlybek Nalibayev, the issue of awarding the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Kyzylorda region" was considered and the composition of the regional onomastic commission was approved. The session was also attended by deputies of the Senate and the Mazhilis of the Parliament Nauryzbai Baykadamov, Ruslan Rustemov, Marhabat Zhaiymbetov, Murat Ergeshbayev and Murat Abenov.
The head of the region, Nurlybek Nalibayev, expressed his wishes that the coming year would be a year of well-being for the people and the region.
"As you know, every year we propose candidates of citizens who have contributed to the socio-economic and cultural development of our region for the title of Honorary Citizen of the Kyzylorda region. All these personalities are familiar to you. We believe that they deserve this title. All of them, thanks to their experience and professionalism, have made a significant contribution to the development of independent Kazakhstan and the region. Thank you for supporting the proposed candidates," N. Nalibayev said.
By the decision of the Kyzylorda regional Maslikhat No. 63 dated December 6, 2012, the instruction on awarding the title of "Honorary Citizen of the region (city, district)" was approved. In accordance with the instructions, the title "Honorary Citizen of the Kyzylorda region" is awarded to citizens who have made a significant contribution to the development of socio-economic, scientific, cultural, social life of the region, charitable activities, education of citizens in the spirit of Kazakhstani patriotism, strengthening peace, friendship, interethnic harmony and unity. The title is awarded on the proposal of the akim of the region and the decision of the regional maslikhat.
To date, the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Kyzylorda region" has been awarded to 70 citizens.
At the session, the head of the Public Development Department, R.Kayupov, reported on the composition of the regional onomastic commission and proposed approving the new composition of the commission. In accordance with the order of the Minister of Culture and Information, the resolution of the Akimat of the Kyzylorda region on the regional onomastic commission was amended, and a new composition of the commission was proposed.
In addition, at the session, deputies of the Senate and the Mazhilis of Parliament, who are actively working to address issues relevant to the country and the socio-economic development of the region, contributing to improving the well-being of the population, were awarded the medal "For contribution to the development of the Kyzylorda region."
