In Toktamys rural district, work has been completed on the average repair of a 10-km section of the road leading to the village of Toktamys. Asphalting has been carried out as part of the project, and work is currently underway to strengthen the roadsides. The contractor is Semey Zholdary LLP.
The receipt of the departmental expert opinion on the project of medium repair of a road of regional significance on a section of 6-11 km (5 km) in the direction of the village of Toktamys has also been completed. Currently, an application for budget financing has been submitted to the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways of the region, and if funds are allocated, the work is scheduled to be completed in 2025.
In 2024, work was also carried out on average repairs on the regional highway "Ayagoz – Karaul – Semey – Kainar" on two sections with a length of 20 km: from 198 to 208 km and from 208 to 218 km.
In addition, in 2024-2025, it is planned to carry out medium repairs on the section of the Ayagoz–Karaul–Semey–Kainar highway from 84 to 99 km with a length of 15 km.
