The International exhibition-Symposium "Turan Taulary" has opened at the Abylkhan Kasteev State Museum of Art.
The exhibition features more than 80 works by artists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Russia.
Work on the works of the international symposium began in 2024 at three geographically diverse venues. The symposium lasted for several months and included three stages. The first stage took place in Kyrgyzstan, where the artists drew inspiration from the picturesque landscapes of Issyk-Kul. The second stage took place in Kazakhstan, in the mountains of the Tien Shan, among majestic mountains and steppes. The final stage was organized in the historical cities of Central Asia — Samarkand, Bukhara and Tashkent, which inspired the participants with their rich cultural heritage.
This international project has become a tribute to the masters of the brush Abylkhan Kasteev and Oral Tansykbayev, whose works are deeply connected with the art and history of Central Asia, as well as an important step towards the preservation, development and popularization of the art and culture of our country.
The exhibition will run until January 23, 2025.
