In 2025, the volunteers of the Astana Zhastary Youth Resource Center continue to help with snow removal in the yards of those citizens who need support. Every year, as part of these campaigns, volunteers visit the homes of pensioners, people with disabilities, and others in need, helping them clean rooms, clear snow from yards, and perform other household tasks.
Today, volunteers carried out a snow removal campaign in the courtyard of one of the houses belonging to a resident of the capital with disabilities.
The main goal of the campaign is to support those who need help.
Every year, Astana Zhastary volunteers pay special attention to veterans, pensioners and people with disabilities. Since the beginning of the year, we have already cleared the snow in 10 houses," said Dana Takenova, a specialist at the Department for the development of the volunteer movement of the IDC Astana Zhastary.
By the way, Astana Zhastary activists also help public utilities workers who clean the city of snow for days on end. For their important work for the capital, on an ongoing basis, volunteers carry out actions to distribute hot tea and bauyrsaks in order to support and express gratitude for their work.
