This year, the Akmola region has achieved positive results in terms of the main indicators of socio-economic development. This was announced by the governor of the region Marat Akhmetzhanov at the CCS site. According to him, over the past agricultural season, the region has achieved significant results, proving the status of the main grain granary of the country.
"One of the main tasks is to make the agricultural sector the main driver of the region's economy. This year, more than 1 trillion tenge of income will be received from agricultural products. Farmers in the region harvested a record 6.6 million tons of grain. The yield is more than 14 kg/ha. More than 60% of the grain is wheat of high commercial quality," the speaker said during a press conference.
