Today, the water rescue station of the emergency rescue unit was opened with the participation of the Governor of Atyrau region Serik Shapkenov and the Minister of Emergency Situations Chingiz Arinov, the press service of the regional governor reports.

The new building of the water rescue station is located on the banks of the Ural River. 

Speaking at the meeting, Serik Shapkenov said that the work to create favorable working conditions for the emergency rescue unit employees will continue.

- You all know how important the rescue service is. Last year, when there was a flood threat, the rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations worked on the front lines, and I would like to express my gratitude once again. I believe that the new building being donated to the rescue unit will positively contribute to the work. We also pay great attention to the material and technical equipment of the rescuers. Last year, funds were allocated from the local budget for this purpose, and equipment and tools were purchased. Work in this direction will continue this year, - noted S. Shapkenov.

Sharada Shyngyz Arinov solemnly handed over new water vehicles and water rescue equipment, equipment and the key to the station to the head of the squad A. Zhumaliyev.

The rescue station was built in accordance with the instructions of modern departments, in accordance with unified requirements. The station includes an administrative building, a box for equipment and water vehicles.

In addition, a 2-story 11-apartment
dormitory was put into operation. It will accommodate 11 employees of the Department with their families. The total area of ​​​​the dormitory is 481.9 cubic meters. This will increase the motivation of rescuers to work, allow them to act quickly, safely carry out rescue operations and show high results.
