A regular meeting of the commission for women's Affairs and family demographic policy under the Akim of Atyrau region was held under the chairmanship of Deputy akim of the region Daryn Shamuratov. The agenda included issues of educational work related to the promotion of parental responsibility, support for women's entrepreneurship, prevention of divorce of young families and women's leadership, the Regional Communications Service reports.
The meeting discussed such examples as improving the quality of educational work, holding joint events with parents, and proposed new initiatives. Last year, the development of the idea of responsible parenting, family protection and the fight against bullying, vandalism, ludomania, waste in children's educational institutions, as well as protection against violence gained momentum. For this purpose, about 20 special projects have been developed, which cover more than 100 thousand parents.
— One of the big tasks is to prevent early pregnancy and suicide. The solution for these two is a psychological support center. And the next issue is family support. For this purpose, family protection centers are being opened in the region and district. We believe that the newly created double structure will solve the main problems, " D. Shamuratov said.
During the meeting, the participants expressed their proposals on the agenda and clarified further plans. In his speech, Daryn Shamuratov noted that strengthening the institution of the family and increasing the activity of women in society is one of the most important directions of state policy.
- Let all our plans for this year be implemented. We have a lot of work to do together with you. You should always have your support and help. Because it is impossible to implement all this without female citizens as leaders on the part of society. We will approve the plan for this year, there will be minor changes. Let it be productive work, - said Deputy akim of the region Daryn Shamuratov.
At the end of the meeting, according to the results of 2024, the members of the commission were awarded special letters of thanks from the chairman of the National Commission for women's Affairs and family and demographic policy under the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balaeva, akim of Atyrau region Serik Shapkenov and Deputy akim of the region Daryn Shamuratov.
