Last year's spring floods led to the destruction of a bridge on the Karaganda-Ayagoz-Bogas-Kindikti highway of regional significance. Thanks to the prompt actions of the local and regional authorities, the problem was solved as soon as possible. A temporary crossing was built across the Bogas River, which allowed for the restoration of traffic. Akim of the region Nurlan Urankhaev personally visited the scene of the incident and promised that the bridge would be repaired.
The construction work carried out by the Zaisan-Kurylys company has been completed successfully. Today, the new bridge is fully operational and ensures safe traffic.
"The bridge plays an important role for our rural district. Its destruction was a real challenge for us. But thanks to the prompt response of the akim of the region and timely assistance, the problem was solved. Now the new bridge serves people, and we are sincerely grateful for this," says Oken Tynybayev, a resident of the village.
The restored bridge carries traffic between the villages of Kindikti and Algabas, as well as access to the Yrgyzbai ata Mausoleum, a significant cultural attraction in the region. 631 people live in the Kindiktinsky rural district, and about six thousand tourists visit the mausoleum annually.
