During the trip, Nurlybek Nalibayev got acquainted with the construction of a road bridge over the railway track.
The total length of the bridge is 940 meters, the width is 12 meters. The project cost is 3.14 million tenge. The general contractor, RITM LLP, started construction last year.
The head of the region stressed that it is necessary to pay special attention to the quality of the bridge being built, and its long-term operation depends on this.
– Today, there is only one railway crossing here. When it is closed, traffic jams form for 2-2.5 kilometers. This, in turn, hinders the work of emergency services, fire fighting, law enforcement agencies, as well as the public. If the bridge is built, all these issues will be resolved," the governor of the region said.
It is worth noting that last year over 44.7 billion tenge was allocated for the development of road construction in the region, more than 300 kilometers of roads were repaired. As a result, the proportion of roads in good condition exceeded 92 percent. Reconstruction of the national highway "Kyzylorda-Zhezkazgan" continues. The project will be fully completed this year.
