Volunteers from the capital distributed baursaks and hot tea to utility workers as part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign, the official website of the Astana akimat reports.

The campaign was timed to coincide with the International "Thank You" Day, which is celebrated on January 11. The volunteers expressed their gratitude to those who provide comfort and order in the city every day, regardless of the weather.

"We express our care and gratitude by distributing baursaks and hot tea. We are celebrating the International "Thank You" Day for the second year in a row. We hope that many people will participate in this campaign every year," said Dana Takenova, a specialist in the volunteer movement development department of the "Astana Zhastary" youth resource center.

This campaign is another reason to thank people who have made great contributions to the development of our city. The hard work of municipal workers sometimes goes unnoticed, but they always perform important tasks to maintain cleanliness and order in the city.

Such events also educate young people to understand the value of labor and express gratitude.
