On January tenth, Fyodor Prokhorovich Blinov, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, turned 101 years old.
Representatives of the city department and the Department of Defense of the Auezovsky district and the Almaty branch of the NGO "Veterans of the Armed Forces" congratulated the centenarian on his birthday.
The servicemen presented the veteran with a letter of thanks and a memorable gift, wishing him health, longevity and well-being.
Fyodor Blinov was born in Alexandrovka village, Zyryanovsky district, East Kazakhstan region. At the front, he was a signalman, participated in the battles for the liberation of Belarus, Ukraine, Poland and Czechoslovakia. Senior Sergeant Fyodor Blinov celebrated the long-awaited Victory in Germany.
Fyodor Prokhorovich's military work was awarded the Order of the Great Patriotic War, I and II degrees, medals "For Courage", "For Victory over Germany" and many other awards.
Today, Fyodor Prokhorovich lives with his daughter, he has five children, 55 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
