200 video surveillance cameras have been installed in the districts and cities of the Turkestan region to ensure public safety. Monitoring of these cameras is carried out by the Operational Control Center of the Turkestan Region Police Department.
Head of the Department of Digitalization, Public Services and Archives of the Turkestan region Marat Ainabekov visited the Center and got acquainted with its work. He noted that this project makes a significant contribution to maintaining public order and monitoring the situation in the region.
Modern cameras provide high-definition video recordings and allow for long-range surveillance, which effectively helps in monitoring public safety. The cameras are designed for the rapid detection and prevention of offenses.
In October last year, the Department of Digitalization, Public Services and Archives of the Turkestan region, together with the Regional Police Department, began work on installing video surveillance cameras in public places to ensure security. The video recordings from the cameras are connected to the Operational Control Center and are under constant monitoring.
To date, the cameras are fully installed in crowded places of the city of Turkestan and are functioning.
