The Kazakhanimation creative association at the Kazakhfilm Film Studio has completed work on the Tokash pen Bakash animation project, which includes 13 episodes. The project will be presented to the audience this year.
With the support of the State Center for the Support of National Cinema, a short animated film "Umit ardayim Zhanymyzda" and a full-length animated film "Altyn Adam" will also be released.
In 2024, classical works of Kazakh animation were updated in a modern format.: "Aksak kulan", "Akyl men baylyk", "Karlygashtyn kurygy negye ayyr".
In addition, Hollywood studios have released dubbed films in Kazakh "Oizhumbak 2", "Despicable Me 4", "Moana 2", "Mufasa: Arystan Patsha" and "Wild Robot".
The Kinopoisk platform translated the animated film "Garfield" into Kazakh and presented it for online screening, and Bee TV released "Da Vinci's Magical Adventure".
This year, as part of the Kazakhanimation's activities, it is planned to complete the production of ten new animation projects, including the films "Zhibek" and "A. Ike's Mission Team". The film "Ak Bota" from the golden fund of Kazakh cinema will also be restored and updated.
New animation projects that will receive government support will be devoted to the themes of national values, respect for parents, Kazakh fairy tales, friendship and sports.
In order to further develop Kazakh animation, a special strategy will be developed this year, as well as work on its improvement.
