The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has opened a universal rescue unit
13.01.2025 00:18:03 2489 As part of the modernization of the rescue services system in Kazakhstan, a new specialized unit has been opened in the city of Makinsk, Akmola region, combining the functions of firefighters and medical personnel. This step has become an important element of a pilot project aimed at improving the interaction of rescue services and increasing the responsiveness to emergency situations.
The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Genghis Arinov, personally visited the renovated fire station No. 8 in Makinsk and got acquainted with the results of major repairs and modernization. The fire station, built back in 1964, has been completely renovated in record time — in just a few months since October last year. Today, it is an example of a modern approach to ensuring the security of the region.
"The modernization of fire brigades and the creation of unique units that can not only carry out rescue operations, but also provide medical assistance, is an important step in strengthening the safety of our citizens. This project in Makinsk is just the beginning. We will continue to develop and modernize rescue units throughout the country," said Minister Genghis Arinov.
One of the key features of the new unit is the integration of the functions of firefighters and paramedics, which significantly increases the efficiency and effectiveness of emergency response. As part of the modernization, the working conditions of rescuers were also improved: the building was renovated, modern facilities for office and household facilities were created, including showers, kitchens, bathrooms and rest rooms. In addition, the equipment box and the gym of the departmental club "BATYR TEAM" were equipped.
Another important part of the modernization was the creation of a medical office, which was relocated to the highway medical and rescue center from the highway "Astana-Kokshetau". The modern equipment of the medical unit makes it possible to improve the quality of emergency care and create comfortable working conditions for medical staff.
As part of the modernization, all personnel of the new unit were provided with the latest uniforms and special equipment.
During the event, Genghis Arinov left a memorable note and parting words in the form of the rescue unit.
"This step is an important element in creating a unified rescue and medical care system. We are confident that the success of this pilot project will open up new opportunities for faster emergency response and improved assistance to victims," said Genghis Arinov.
The new unit will provide security in several nearby settlements, which are home to more than 30,000 people. Rescuers will also travel to the highway sections and eliminate the consequences of accidents.
At the end of the event, the Minister presented departmental awards. Bakytzhan Alashov, acting head of the Emergency Department of the Akmola region, was awarded the badge "Azamattyk korgau zhuyesin damytuga koskan ulesi ushin". The head of the Black Sea Rescue Fund OF KAZAKHSTAN Rashid Dzhanuzakov received a certificate of honor, and letters of thanks for his high professionalism were received by drivers of the HRC-8 Yerlan Aryngazin and Sergey Popov.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to actively develop the material and technical base and improve the working conditions of rescuers, creating new modern units equipped with advanced technologies. This will increase the responsiveness to emergencies and improve the quality of rescue operations across the country.
