Akmola region is not only a grain–growing region of the country, but is also famous for its beautiful nature - Borovskaya, Zerendinskaya resort areas, Korgalzhynsky nature reserve. And the Borovoye resort is the highlight of the region. Along with the tourist destinations of Almaty and Mangystau regions, Akmola region is designated as one of the three main centers of tourism development in the country. As part of the tasks set by the President, together with the Government, a comprehensive plan is being developed to create a new resort concept for 2025-2029. This was announced by Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov in the CCS.
According to him, this year the Atyrau Avenue recreation area and the Tara Burabai ethnic restaurant opened in Borovoye. As part of the development of small aircraft, helicopter sightseeing trips will be launched in the resort area starting next year.
Within the framework of the National project "Comfortable School", 6 schools were built for 7.2 thousand places. Children are already studying in them. The construction of two schools for 2 thousand places in the village of Koyandy in the Tselinograd district and two schools for 3 thousand places in the city of Kokshetau has been completed.
"These settlements are located near the capital. Thus, a number of problems for parents are being solved, and the burden on the capital's educational facilities is reduced. The territory of comfortable schools has advantages over ordinary ones. Also this year, the construction of a school for 1.2 thousand places has been completed in the city of Kosshy. This year, 2 kindergartens for 446 places have been opened in the regional center. Next year, 3 more facilities will be put into operation," the governor of the region said.
Within the framework of the National Project "Modernization of Rural Health care", primary health care facilities are being built to cover 43 thousand people living in 38 rural settlements. The construction of a district hospital continues in the city of Stepnyak. Next year, the construction of an interregional multidisciplinary hospital with 630 beds will begin in the city of Kokshetau. 50 ambulances were purchased for leasing in the amount of 3.7 billion tenge.
The year 2024 was full of bright sporting achievements for the region. The athletes of the region performed well at the Summer Paralympic Games in Paris. David Degtyarev, Yerkin Gabbasov and Amir Muratbekov achieved good results.
