Currently, 3,240 veterans live in Karaganda region, 9 of them are veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Preparations for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory have begun in the region. The task is that no one should be ignored.
- The celebration of the 80th anniversary of the victory has begun. Events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War Veterans Kali Amanbayev and Kamali Dyusembekov were held. Currently, regional and regional headquarters are being created, which will coordinate the work on solving social problems of war veterans and Home Front workers, – said the head of the Department of internal policy Nurlan Bikenov at the staff meeting.
In honor of the Victory Day, the amount of one-time material assistance was announced. Participants of the Great Patriotic War will receive 3 million tenge. The benefits also provide for payments to those equated to WWII veterans: prisoners of concentration camps and residents of besieged Leningrad – from 200 thousand tenge, Home Front workers – from 100 thousand tenge, widows and wives of soldiers who died during the WWII – from 50 thousand tenge.
In addition, Jubilee medals will be awarded.
A charity event "Veterans tagzym" will be organized with the participation of volunteers of youth organizations. Patriotic events are also planned for schoolchildren: class hours, courage lessons, competitions. The military-patriotic meeting "aybin" will be held.
As always, in an online format, the campaign "er aymi – El is remembered" will be held in order to perpetuate the memory of the deceased heroes.
Today there are 171 monuments of combat glory in the region.
"None of the veterans should be ignored," governor of the region Yermaganbet Bulekpayev said.
He gave a number of instructions to the heads of departments regarding the holding of events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory.
