Kostanay residents continue to support the Taza Kazakhstan program, initiated by the President of the country K.-Zh. Tokayev in early April 2024. The purpose of this initiative is to increase environmental awareness of the population and improve the state of the environment in various regions of the region.
As part of the program, the region continues to hold creative, large-scale events: educational campaigns, round tables, seminars, etc., aimed at raising environmental awareness of citizens.
Cooperation with local enterprises and public organizations plays an important role in the implementation of the program. Thus, representatives of the business community, youth, athletes and ethno-cultural associations actively participate in the events.
On January 13 of this year, within the framework of the national program "Taza Kazakhstan", the challenge "Let's remove the snow together" was launched in Kostanay region.
The Head of State has repeatedly stressed the importance of caring for nature, noting that environmental responsibility is not only the task of every citizen, but also one of the key factors for the sustainable development of the country. Taza Kazakhstan is an important part of the state environmental policy aimed at improving the state of the environment and increasing the level of ecological culture in society.
So, in order to provide useful and necessary snow removal assistance in winter, volunteers and activists of the Youth Resource Center went to the Balbobek kindergarten in the city of Tobyl.
Armed with wide shovels and brushes, the eco-activists cleared the snow from the playgrounds, and also put the kindergarten territory in order.
This initiative is planned to be distributed throughout the district, passing the baton to youth and public organizations, government agencies and enterprises.
Thus, the action not only helps to maintain cleanliness, but also strengthens the unity of the nation, educates the youth with a sense of patriotism. After all, cleanliness and order are the responsibility of every citizen," the organizers emphasized.
Residents of the city of Rudny, within the framework of the republican environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan" at the Rudn Territorial Center for Social Services, held an event with the participation of recipients of special services in a hospital for people with neuropsychiatric diseases.
The lesson began with an instructor's conversation about the need to preserve the purity of nature in his native land. As part of the occupational therapy, the children made feeders for wintering birds. During the event, a musical warm-up was held for the participants, contests and games were played. The children were very happy to hang their own hand-made feeders on the territory of the center. Now, when attending classes, the wards will have the opportunity to take care of the conservation of the number of birds.
"The importance of holding the national action "Taza Kazakhstan" is felt by every citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan. And this event showed that fostering a sense of responsibility, patriotism and hard work in children will bear fruit in the future," the occupational therapy instructor emphasized.
"Thanks to such initiatives, a new culture and a new social ethic are taking root in the country. We can say that this is true patriotism and caring for the Motherland. Through such deeds, a new quality of our nation is being formed," the President said in his Message to the people of Kazakhstan.
A master class "creation of products from recycled materials" was organized in the city of Gitikara.
The beginning of the master class was a conversation with the younger generation about the problem of increasing the amount of plastic garbage and landfills of household waste. The children were told about the most important environmental topics: about the human attitude to nature, about the possibilities of plastic recycling in the modern world, and also introduced the children to the fractions of packaging and the rules of their sorting. For accessibility, the children were shown examples in pictures and videos. The completion of the master class was a practical lesson with day care students on making bird feeders from recycled materials.
"Each participant of the event made a significant contribution to improving the environmental situation of our city. After all, the main task of a modern person is to find the most rational and environmentally safe ways to deal with plastic waste, as well as learn how to apply them in life," the organizers of the event noted.
Such an unusual method of recycling has become an interesting and useful game for children, as well as an example of how important it is to protect and appreciate nature, promote and support environmental campaigns, drawing people's attention to the problems of environmental pollution.
It should be noted that in 2024, more than 11 billion tenge was allocated for landscaping and improvement of settlements.
According to the results of all the work carried out, the provision of street lighting amounted to 90%, the installation of fences in 90 villages, with a total length of 67.8 km.
Over the past period of 2024, government agencies and private organizations, peasant farms, youth, volunteer and non-governmental organizations, deputies of maslikhats, representatives of the KSK, AXIS were involved. A total of 607.3 thousand people took part, 354 unauthorized landfills were eliminated, 327 squares were landscaped, 201.5 thousand tons of garbage were removed, and more than 133.3 thousand trees were planted.
