Today, a meeting on personnel changes in the internal affairs bodies was held under the chairmanship of Akim of the region Nurlybek Nalibayev. Since May 2023, the duties of the head of the regional police department of the Kyzylorda region have been performed by Mahsudkhan Nugmanovich Ablazimov, who, in accordance with the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, took a well-deserved rest.
At the meeting, the akim of the region introduced the new head of the Kyzylorda region Police Department, Serik Zhursynbayuly Ergeshov.
"The President of the country emphasized that the fight against crime and ensuring public order is the most important task. This is a highly responsible job. Every citizen of our country should feel safe. To do this, the law enforcement system must work smoothly and efficiently," the governor of the region said.
Strengthening the work of the police, ensuring public safety and taking effective measures in the law enforcement sphere directly depends on the actions of the leadership.
The internal affairs bodies are an important structure that ensures law and order and the safety of citizens. A professional law enforcement service is especially important, which is characterized by high responsibility, risk and tolerance for difficulties.
We need police officers who can protect the peace of society, make decisions quickly and courageously in difficult situations, and honestly perform their official duties. In order for the work of law enforcement agencies to be systematic and effective, the akimat constantly supports them. In such an important and complex area as security, we are confident that Serik Zhursynbayuly's knowledge, qualifications and experience will be very useful," N.Nalibayev said.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Saken Sarsenov noted the career path of the new head and wished him good luck. Rizabek Ozharov, Prosecutor of the Kyzylorda region, Serik Duissenbayev, Chairman of the regional Council of Veterans, Serikbol Tungyshbai, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Police Department, and other veterans of the service also congratulated.
Serik Zhursynbayuly Ergeshov was born in 1979. In 1996, he began his service in the internal affairs bodies. He held various senior positions in the Shymkent City Department of Internal Affairs of the South Kazakhstan region. Since 2019, he has worked as Deputy Head of the Shymkent City Police Department.
It is worth noting that in the period from 2022 to 2024, almost 8 billion tenge was allocated from the regional budget to improve the material and technical base of the police. This year, about 3 billion tenge is provided for these purposes. The video surveillance system network has been expanded for timely detection of crimes and rapid response. 539 video surveillance cameras and 49 speed cameras have been installed in seven districts of the region. For the first time in the country, Police Operational Centers were introduced in every district in the Kyzylorda region, which made it possible to effectively combat offenses, both minor and serious.
In the last three years, the police department has received 128 new vehicles. This year, it is planned to provide the service with 52 more new company vehicles.
