As part of the national project "Powerful regions — the driver of the country's development" in 2024, 41 semi-detached single-storey houses with a total area of 5,790 square meters were built in 12 settlements of Urjar district (Urzhar, Akzhar, Yeltai, Taskesken, Altynshoky, Aitbai, Naualy, Eginsu, Zhanai, Besterek, Kazymbet, Zhogargy Eginsu). meters. Within the framework of this project, 82 families were provided with housing.
This project is an important step in improving the social situation of the residents of the district and improving their quality of life.
1,060 people are registered in the waiting list for housing in Urjar district. Of these, 195 are orphans left without parental care, 272 are employees of state and budgetary institutions, 14 are citizens whose homes are recognized as emergency, 406 are representatives of socially vulnerable groups of the population and 173 are large families.
