Registration of disadvantaged brucellosis sites decreased by 30% in 2024

The infection rate has not exceeded 0.08% in the last three years.
Also, by the end of 2024, there has been a 30% decrease in the registration of disadvantaged brucellosis sites in the country compared to 2023.
This was reported by the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In particular, according to the serological research plan for 2024, INSPEK LLP examined more than 2,000 cattle, 53 of them responded positively.
In order to determine the status of the farm, additional diagnostic studies were conducted, which revealed 95 heads of cattle with brucellosis.
According to veterinary and sanitary regulations, all animals have been put in for sanitary slaughter.
Disinfection was carried out in the farm on an area of 13,200 square meters.m.
On January 10, restrictive measures were introduced in the farm. The forces of the RSU "Republican Antiepizootic squad" of the KVKN of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan are conducting recreational activities.
The situation is under the control of the veterinary service.
