By order of the Akim of the East Kazakhstan region, Samat Kasenov became the head of the Department of Culture of East Kazakhstan region.
He is a native of the East Kazakhstan region. In 2006, he graduated from S. Amanzholav East Kazakhstan University with a degree in History and Geography.
Since 2006, he has worked in the Department of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the East Kazakhstan Museum of Local Lore. Since 2013, he has held positions in the Department of Culture and Art of the Department of Culture of East Kazakhstan Region. I started as an ordinary specialist. Since 2019, he has held the position of Chief Inspector of the office of the Akim of the East Kazakhstan region. On February 14, 2023, he was appointed Deputy head of the Department of Culture of East Kazakhstan Region.
From October 2024 to the present, he has been acting as the head of the regional Department of Culture.
