Akim of the East Kazakhstan region Yermek Kosherbayev held a meeting with archaeologists Nurbol Baymukhanov and Dmitry Voyakin.
During the meeting, prospects for further research were discussed. In particular, satellite images have shown that there are monuments on the shores of the Black Irtysh and in Zaisan that will allow to lift the veil of mystery of the Middle Ages. Prior to this, this time period in the history of the Turkic world had not been explored. But his story arouses great interest from the international community.
As Yermek Kosherbayev noted, the presented research projects of our archaeologists, who really want to learn new things and tell their compatriots and colleagues about it, will be carefully studied. In addition, scientists and specialists from the Margulan Institute of Archaeology and the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be involved.
