The issue was discussed in detail with the participation of heads of departments, akims of districts and cities of the region. The state managers of East Kazakhstan presented their plans and positions.
In every district, in every area of East Kazakhstan region, there is a potential for economic growth. These include the production of canned food, wholesale and retail trade in local products, cooperation in agriculture, and the development of small businesses based on the processing of agricultural products.
The head of the region, Yermek Kosherbayev, set the meeting participants the task of creating conditions for the development of certain projects, which in turn will become sources of budget replenishment and the creation of new stable jobs. To organize the processes, the mayor explained to the audience the importance of working on the principle of a project office, when each new direction will be implemented with the participation of all interested industry departments and local authorities, as well as in partnership with business and society.
The tourism industry has a special place. Fortunately, East Kazakhstan is a pearl of a country with a special nature and unique landscapes. And in this area, as well as in the processing of agricultural products, cooperation between districts is important. When the region becomes a single entity that generally works for economic growth, which means an increase in the well-being of residents. Great importance is attached to the deep processing of industrial products, the development of new deposits and geological exploration.
It should be noted that since the summer of 2023, the region has been calculating the balance of production and consumption, supply and demand in each district, in each area. And the principle of the project office is applied to the implementation of all adopted programs both in the country and in the region. Each city and district of the region, each department interacts with each other to achieve results in the system of project offices.
