Earlier, environmental activist Evgeny Mukhamedzhanov shared on social networks a story about how he witnessed the kindness and attentiveness of a bus driver who helped a passenger in a wheelchair get into a vehicle using a provided lift. Later, this publication received many warm responses from the townspeople.
Presenting a valuable gift and a letter of thanks on behalf of the mayor, the head of the Almatyelectrotrans fleet, Alexander Beisembiev, emphasized the driver's professionalism, noting the importance of caring for passengers.
In turn, the bus driver Kanata Akhmetov expressed gratitude for the attention to his deed and the kind words of the city's leadership.
"I was just doing my job, following the instructions prescribed by the instructions and based on my understanding of what a public transport driver should be like. We don't just transport passengers, we take care of people's safety and comfort every day. I am sure that each of my colleagues would have done the same," Kanat Akhmetov said.
Kanat Akhmetov brings up four children, and has been working as a bus driver at Almatyelectrotrans for almost a year.
