The grand opening of two modern schools in the residential districts of Bereke and Auezhai took place in Kostanay today. These educational institutions have become part of the national project "Comfortable School", implemented on the initiative of the Head of State.
The project is aimed at creating comfortable and modern learning conditions for every child. Last year alone, two schools with 1,200 places were built in Kostanay region, and in 2025, seven more new educational institutions with 4,500 places will open their doors.
Education that meets international standards
The schools that are open today fully meet modern educational standards. They are equipped with interactive whiteboards, STEAM labs and specialized classrooms, which allows students and teachers to use advanced technologies, conduct virtual experiments and engage in scientific activities.
Each institution is adapted for children with special educational needs, and also includes spaces for comprehensive development: choreographic and sports halls, coworking areas and playgrounds for creativity.
Neighborhoods are growing – conditions for children are improving
More than 20 thousand people live in the Bereke microdistrict, and more than 15 thousand live in the Auezhai microdistrict, of which about 5 thousand are children. These schools will become an important part of the infrastructure that is actively developing in these areas, including the construction of kindergartens and other social facilities.
Education is the key to the development of the region
The Tobyl-Torgai region is the birthplace of great enlighteners such as Ybray Altynsarin, Shokan Ualikhanov, Akhmet Baitursynov and Myrzhakyp Dulatov. It is symbolic that it is in the year of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of Kazakhstan, the 190th anniversary of Shokan Ualikhanov and the 140th anniversary of Myrzhakyp Dulatov that schools bearing the spirit of innovation begin their history.
The future belongs to the younger generation
"Opening new schools is an investment in the future of the region and the whole country. I am sure that our students will continue the glorious traditions of their great ancestors, achieve high results in science and culture, and contribute to the development of Kazakhstan," said Akim of the region Kumar Aksakalov.
Thanks to such important social initiatives, Kostanay region is strengthening its position as a region with high educational standards.
