Today, Akim of the Zhetisu region Beibit Isabayev held an award ceremony for the best agricultural workers in the region, presenting a number of them with state awards on behalf of the President of the country, the press service of the akim of the Zhetisu region reports.

- This year, for the first time in the history of the country, the First Forum of Agricultural Workers was held in Astana on the occasion of the Day of Agricultural Workers, within which the Head of State awarded representatives of the agricultural industry from different regions of the country, including from the Zhetisu region. The development of the economy is directly related to the development of agriculture. In our region, favorable natural and climatic conditions contribute to the development of this important industry. At the same time, we process about 65% of the agricultural products grown in our region. This year, high yields are observed for all major crops. For example, for the first time in the region this year we receive 640 thousand tons of sugar beet. In general, 2.1 million tons of crops are expected to be obtained from 510.1 thousand hectares of acreage. In all these achievements there is your great merit, the result of your daily hard work. For our part, we provide the necessary state support. For example, 35 billion tenge has been allocated from the budget to support agricultural facilities in the region, B. Isabayev said, thanking the agrarians once again for their contribution to the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region and moving on to the award ceremony.

Thus, Yerkimbek Slyamov, the head of the Samai peasant farm in Taldykorgan, was awarded the Parasat Order. He has been developing his farm for almost 30 years, specializing in both crop production and animal husbandry. He grows sugar beet, corn, soybeans, wheat, barley, as well as cattle and horses. The farm has almost 50 units of special equipment.

The Order of "Kurmet" was awarded to the head of the farm "Daulet-B" of the Aksu district Daulet Biyadilov and the founder, CEO of LLP "Assyl Tuyak" of the Alakol district Duman Nagashbekuly, who has been working in the field of agriculture for 22 years. The main area of work is beet farming. And today, the Daulet-B farm is one of the largest suppliers of sweet root crops to the Aksu sugar factory in the region.

But Asyl Tuyak LLP makes a significant contribution to the development of meat farming with a further increase in export potential, engaged in breeding breeding cattle and sheep, breeding new breeds.

For his contribution to the development of agriculture in the region, Nurbol Saidakulov was awarded the Yeren enbegi Ushin medal, who has been working as a mechanic and driver of the Nurkadam farm since 2002, making a significant contribution to the development of crop production and animal husbandry in the Kerbulak district.

On behalf of the awardees, the head of the Samai Farm, Yerkimbek Slyamov, spoke:

- The land on the territory of my farm is very rocky. Therefore, it is very difficult to achieve high yields. But thanks to modern technology, compliance with agricultural technologies, state support and patience, I now receive 550-600 quintals of sugar beet per hectare from these plots. As they say, anything is possible if you put enough effort into it. And we intend to maintain these rates of successful development," the agrarian noted.

By the way, earlier, at the I Forum of Agricultural Workers in Astana, another agrarian of the Zhetisu region, Ulan Sarpekov, head of the Aigerim Farm in Panfilov district, received the Order of "Kurmet" from the hands of the President, where special attention is paid to the introduction of moisture–saving technologies.

It should be noted that by the end of 10 months of 2024, the volume of agricultural products in the Zhetisu region amounted to 362.4 billion tenge, and by the end of the year this figure is planned to increase to 102.5%, that is, to 518.2 billion tenge.
