The importance of the program is being widely promoted among schoolchildren and students in the district and rural areas.
For example, an environmental hour called "Let's keep our homeland clean!" was organized for students of the district at the Karmakshy Agrarian and Technical College. According to the director of the educational institution, Bauyrzhan Seidulla, such events have great educational value.
On the initiative of the head of state, the "Clean Kazakhstan" program has been implemented since last year. The youth of the Karmakshy district are also actively participating in it. Our boys and girls clean public places from garbage, help clean up the yards of veterans, and plant trees. Through the program, we are instilling in the younger generation an ecological culture and responsibility for our homeland," noted the college director S. Seidulla.
Today, a drawing competition on the theme "Ecology through the eyes of children" is also being held in the schools of the Karmakshy district. The best works are presented at school exhibitions.
“Such events contribute to the formation of care for nature, hard work, and responsibility for the environment in children,” says Gulzira Erkebayeva, director of school-lyceum No. 250 named after T. Komekbayev. “Children are happy to participate in cleaning classrooms, cleaning up garbage, and planting trees in the schoolyard. Open lessons and classroom hours focused on environmental education are one of the important areas of work with our children.”
Today, as part of the “We are for a clean region” program, sanitary cleaning of the central square and “Tagzym” alley is also being carried out in the center of the Zhalagash district. Employees of government agencies, volunteers, and local residents are participating in it.
In addition, in the village of Zhalagash, the next action "Let's honor veterans" was organized by activists of the youth resource center.
"It has become a tradition for us to help villagers, including veterans of the rear, pensioners, and lonely elderly people. We clean their yards from garbage, whiten trees, and clean their houses. Elders always thank us for our good deeds and give us their blessings. This is the highest award for us. After all, "Clean Kazakhstan" is not only the cleanliness of our streets and yards, but first of all, it is the purity and kindness of our hearts and actions," says the head of the center, Askhat Akhmetzhanov.
It should be noted that since the start of the "Clean Kazakhstan" environmental event in the region, about 730,000 residents of the region have participated. More than 27,000 tons of garbage were removed, 505 squares and parks, 225 historical and cultural monuments, 791 social facilities, 4,596 industrial and business facilities, 322 water facilities, and 47,451 yards and streets were cleaned.
