NGO grant competition begins

The Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Unified Grant Operator, announces the launch of a grant competition for non-governmental organizations in 2025.
The purpose of the competition is to support civil initiatives and involve civil society institutions in addressing key social issues.
As part of the competition, NGOs can submit projects in two main areas: "Support for youth policy and children's initiatives" and "Assistance in solving family, demographic and gender issues."
There are nine priority areas in total:
- Promotion of zero tolerance for offenses and corruption.
- Improving financial literacy and preventing youth creditworthiness.
- Rehabilitation and adaptation of youth who have served a criminal sentence.
- Prevention of ludomania (gambling addiction).
- Fight against drug addiction and drug crime among young people.
- Civil and patriotic education of the younger generation.
- Organization of an online psychological service for Family Support Centers.
- Prevention of domestic violence through media promotion.
- Promotion of family and traditional values, increasing the responsibility of parents for the upbringing of children.
