Semey International Airport expands the possibilities for convenient and safe passenger service. To ensure unhindered access for people with limited mobility, an outpatient elevator was purchased.
"An outpatient elevator is not just an equipment, but a complex technique. Similar equipment is used in other cities of our country, but mostly it is made abroad. We have ambulift, a domestic product. The equipment was assembled by STAHLBAU LLP and purchased with the support of the regional akimat. Today, for the first time, tests were conducted for passengers of the Almaty-Semey flight. Now the elevator will be used daily," said Gazizbek Samatov, Director of the airport.
The ambulatory elevator is designed for boarding and disembarking passengers with limited mobility on board an aircraft. This specialized equipment ensures safe and high-quality passenger service.
At the end of last year, the airport, with the support of the regional akimat, also received a modern bus with a capacity of 110 people.
